Nature, Art, and Horsemanship for Kids Ages 6–18

Our After School Program offers a unique and hands-on experience where kids build confidence, responsibility, and creativity—all through the magic of horses.

Designed for students ages 6–18, this program goes far beyond riding lessons. With a strong focus on horsemanship, participants learn to communicate with and care for horses, creating respectful and meaningful relationships with these incredible animals. From daily grooming and tack basics to introductory veterinary care, students gain practical knowledge that prepares them for future horse ownership—or simply a lifelong love of animals.

Each 3-hour session also includes time for artistic expression and outdoor play. Kids take part in nature-based games, farm-inspired art projects, and collaborative ground activities with both peers and horses.

Program Details:

• 💫 Open to ages 6–18
• 📆 Runs September through May, divided into three semesters
• 🧒 Students are grouped by age for age-appropriate learning
• ⏰ Meets once a week for a 3-hour session at Kelley Farm
• 🎨 Includes horseback riding, horse care, art projects, and nature exploration
